Thanks to Bec from Compose Photography and my husband for helping me photograph the day. At 36 weeks pregnant it was tough, but so worth it!

Tanya + Jay

I was expecting an incredible wedding from this spunky pair and boy did they deliver. Jay & Tanya oozed style, plus they had a ridiculously good looking bridal party. Jay & Tanya were married at the Sunken Gardens, UWA and held their reception at Moore & Moore in Fremantle.

The day was filled with laughs, tears, heartfelt vows, gangsta moves and the best speeches I have ever heard, including a rap by the Maid of Honour.

Thanks for such a fun day JT and welcome to the extended family xxx

Sally + Stephen

Sally and Steve were referred by Dani and Sam, whose wedding I photographed earlier in the year. We met at Bar + Bites to chat about their big day & I knew we were going to have a great day. They planned a relaxed and intimate wedding in the hills, getting married at St Cuthbert’s Anglican and a backyard reception at Steve’s Grandads. Despite the wet weather, these two were relaxed and only had eyes for each other. The wet road out the front of the reception, proved to be a gorgeous spot for five minutes of photos before their entry. Such a gorgeous groups of family & friends, Gareth & I felt so welcome, so thank you for letting us document your day. May these images provide a life time of memories that demonstrate your love for each other and those that surround you.

Ali xx

Warren + Tiffany

Warren or Woz as his mates like to call him (which includes me) is from Perth and he’s a navy man, which means he moves around a bit. For the last little while he has been based in Canberra, so you can imagine my surprise when I got a phone call from him asking to photograph his wedding! I was super stoked, it was going to be my first interstate wedding nor I had ever been to Canberra. I was lucky enough to meet his partner Tiffany, before the wedding, after they flew into Perth for a few days on their way home from the UK.

They met in Sydney and Woz knew.

Their wedding was planned within a few months as Woz had been given an opportunity to work in the USA and they wanted to be wedded before they left the country. So on a cold (for a Perth girl it was absolutely freezing!), crisp winter’s day, Warren & Tiffany were married.

Looking forward to seeing your adventures from the facebook updates guys. Have an amazing time over there as married newbys xx

Dani + Sam

He’s a mechanic, she’s a doctor. He’s from York, she loves vintage tea cups. Their day was the happiest wedding I’ve ever seen, you could not wipe the smiles off their faces, it was contagious. Filled with sentimental handmade goodness, Dani went to so much effort, creating every little detail. From their ceremony handouts, bouquets to the drink and lolly station. She put in a lot of time and love so their day represented them. They are the sweetest couple around!

Ceremony was held at Holy Rosary Church in Nedlands and they held their gorgeous backyard reception at their house, which belonged to Dani’s Grandma.

Prepare to smile the whole way through this blog.

Alix
